Where all magic is said to have taken form. Where all Mages are said to have originated.
Ilias is said to have the most beautiful skies, waters and lands. Centuries since its existence, both Mages and Neutrals inhabit the resourceful lands in harmony. Mages have adapted to living without completely depending on their abilities and only display their abilities for certain purposes. Some Mages, however, form Circles to support each other. The biggest and most influential Circle established the Council to reinforce laws and regulations on Mages so that they do not transgress their boundaries. Young recruits are trained to become Hunters, to capture criminals who misuse their powers.
Rin, Kazu and Edwin are ace Hunters despite their young age. Rin chose to be a Hunter to search for the people responsible for killing her brother years ago. However, the truth is never as simple as it seems as everyone around her, including those she trusts has secrets of their own. Broken pasts return to haunt, fates intertwine, values are questioned and mending hearts are on the verge of breaking again.
Things complicate with the rise of a powerful new Circle – the King’s League, led by a man, bent on claiming Ilias for his own, even if it meant rending the earth and skies open.
Magic is a deadly weapon against its own kind. So are humans.
